My name is Dale Schuck and I've been clean and sober since December 7, 2003. I am a gratefully recovering alcoholic who's story includes drugs. I am an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous and attennd several other 12 Step fellowships when I can. My personal recovery depends on my seeking out recovery wherever it may be.

I'm a happily divorced father of a beautiful 7 year old son named Elijah who lives in Arizona with his mom. Fortunately mom and I are good terms and work together to raise this happy little adventurer. I miss my son very much and can't wait until I can be closer to him.

The job I have as a treatment counselor is awesome. I work in a detox whrere I have the opportunity to work with others when they are at their greatest need. I've been a counselor there almost 3 years years and I am working toward dual certification to work as a counselor in both social model and clinical programs.

Three of my passions are nature, spirituality and music. I view the world as a beautiful place despite it's problems and enjoy God in nature, amazing people and great music. I have a sponsor, work the Steps, attend meetings and remain in service. That's how I do it a day at a time.
