| Hi my name is Melissa and I'm an alcoholic. My soberity date is 2-23-98. I am a single mom of five children and am currently attending college. I was born in Anchorage Alaska, raised part of my life in my moms village Point Hope Alaska and have now lived in Fairbanks Alaska for 24 years, love it here. Not only am I an alcoholic but I am many other things, first I believe I am a codependent in all ways,ACOA, ALanon, SLAA, and GA. I have been on the road to recovery with these other awakenings I'd say after my first three years in A.A.. I love this recovery stuff, I love being inspired and I love who I have become so far. These last two years how ever have been very painstaking, but growth comes with a price. I love the quote by Galileo Galilei "All truths are easy to understand once they are discovered;the point is to discover the truth".
