My name is Denise and I am an addict. I am a widower-single parent- raising my 13 year old son. I'm very down to earth with a great yet sometimes...most of the time, sarcastic sence of humor. (Life is funny sometimes)Taking things too seriously can occupy unnecessary space in the mind thus ruining any one day. Which I choose to live for...Just For Today. Life is too short. I'm grateful for my life and have grown to appreciate everything in it. Through the years, I have learned how not to be  judgemental. We all have a story. Who am I to judge other people and the choices they make or have made? I have made some very bad choices in my life but lived and learned from them. I give back what was givin' to me by running and directing a Three Quarter House for recovering women. I believe in always doing the next right thing. Even when noone is looking. I am far from perfect. Seeking knowledge is a continual practice of mine. I want to know everything about everything. Curiosity is the first step to knowledge. I love poetry and looking for and finding beauty in the little things. I am truly grateful today. Although I have many goals...Happiness is my most crutial and continual one..
