 hi, im new here...my name is stacy, but snatchula or snatch is fine. i have two years and five months sober...my vices were(are) meth, weed, and alcohol, also needles. pills, sex, codependancy could also be thrown in there too. i lost everything. my job, kids , home, soul self. i lived(if you can call it that) on the streets for years before i finally had enough and reached out for help. i found it in a.a. and n.a. i havnt relapsed yet and i have slowly moved forward to getting some sort of life for myself. my kids come to stay with me in the summer, i have reconnected with my parents...im taking care of my mental health problems the best i can as well. i dont work, and im not ready for school...some times quickly, sometimes slowly. to each his or her own. so that is pretty much all i have to say, im not very good at this stuff, oh except i will say that i do lots of service work...i swear by it...the more the better, especially if you(me) arent working...anyway, im done now. |

Stacy C. --- What can I say? I'm SO brand new to this, and the reason I'm even on this computer site is because of Stacy C. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I used to be Stacy C's dealer.....on of many I guess. But I like to think I was a favorite. I found recovery, and remember taking Stacy C. and her significant other to a meeting.....but each of our higher powers works differently in each one of us. The changes I see in Stacy are nothing but fenominal! She is such a beautiful person......she's always had this somewhat of a "snatchula" attitude, and it has only developed since recovery. I too have not relapsed in my recovery because if I did, I think it would kill me. I'm not ready to die yet.....though I have had such a rough time this past year, I had tought about it. But you know, I didn't have to pick up over my tragedy, and Stacy C., you are a true inspiration to me and lots of others out there in your native Humboldt County. I hope to return to Humboldt when my mission in the foothills here is done (don't know when that will be), until then, I will be sure to stop in and see my friends in recovery.
