| SO i must write about me?? i started drinking heavily when my dad died in a fire, quit after 2 1/2 years only to start up again after 31 day cause 6 aa meetings cured me. I since have realized i am in fact an alcoholic and like long romantic walks on the beach. I have an almost 5 year old son with 2 recovering alcoholics as parents and i am bound and determined to make sure he doesnt fall in the same trap we did, and as horrific as it may be if he was too i will hold his hand every step of the way. I LOVE ME, i have always been able to say that cause i do-I ROCK and it doesnt matter if noone or everyone knows it, once in a family argument i was described as being on a pedistle and now with a child i am on that pedistle with my son above my head-EXACTLY!!!!!!!! But i dont think less of others, you are who you are and how you live is your business, i dont frown upon anyone cause that would in turn allow them to frown upon me and really im here to live my own life and i cant help it if i love who i am eveystep of the way, being on a pedistle does not mean i think im better then you, im just up there to see things a little clearer. there is a thin line between having an ego and just loving yourself, i know where the line is and ive never crossed it, it takes to much effort to worry about others and what there doing in life and how it is right,wrong, or otherwise. i got too much to do with my own life and raising an exceptionally wonderful, but often pissy and stubborn son, but im always available to be a friend and listen and if you want it- my advice the best i can give it
