Hello Family. My Name is Dave M i am an addict in RECOVERY From Port Orchard Washington. I am very Grateful to be a member of the N.A fellowship which has helped me to stay clean on a daily basis for over Six Years now. For well over 22 years i ripped and ran thruout the western United States in active addiction. I manipulated my family and every one around me. I was not capable of loving myself so i was not capable of loving anyone or anything. I eventually ended up living on the streets of downtown Los Angeles, better known as Skid Row. I survived there for almost a month. Spiritually, Morally, mentally and Physically bankrupt on August 15 2001 I surrendered my will and my Life to a higher power i choose to call God. I seeked guidance and i got it. I was able to get into treatment for a short stay and came back to the Pacific Northwest. I was offered suggestions and followed them, like getting a Sponsor, Home group, 90 meetings in 90 days, Working (And Living) the steps and Traditions and Definately SERVICE WORK. Today i have a support group of friends and a loving family which is back in my life. I recieve so many Gifts on a Daily Basis. I am a Productive member of Society with all the gifts of life that come with that. I am engaged to be married to my soul mate, best friend and Woman of my Dreams and that is one of the biggest and Best Gifts of all. Today i have Choices and Surrender and Accept no matter What.( O.K i still fight that lol ) So if your New and have stopped by my page Welcome. Give yourself a Break and Keep Coming Back PLEASE. You too are my best friend and soul mate as well. I am so happy that Gad has but us together and has allowed us to stay true to each other. As I said in your other message I left you today.
