My clean date is 5/9/06, and my recovery is very important to me.  I am active in service and I believe that the program - spiritual, not religious - works if you live it.  We are truly not alone; there's no new thing under the sun.  If you want what is offered, you must be willing to take the steps to get it.  If nothing is what you do, then nothing is what you get!  I surround myself with recovering people all the time.  I believe that if you stay in the middle, you won't fall off the edge.  The difference between wellness and illness is "we" or "I"!

Happiness keeps you Sweet,
Trials keep you  Strong,
Sorrows keep you Human,
Failures keep you  Humble,
Success keeps you Glowing,
But Only God Keeps You  Going!  

When God is all you've got, you realize that God is all you need!
