Alan and Patrick performed together at Hilarities at Pickwick and Frolic in Cleveland in 2004 during the Guiness Book of World Records for Longest Running Stand Up Comedy Show. After 50 hours and countless pots of coffee they came to believe that their brand of comedy worked well together. They have since shared the stage more than a few times to full houses across the Midwest. The One Laugh At A Time Comedy Tour is an excuse for these two to hang out and share their experiences on and off a bar stool.
Alan Marx has appeared on the Ricki Lake show, Fox TV..s Good Day Philadelphia and Philadelphia's ABC and NBC affiliates and the All New Rascals Comedy Hour on Sirius Satellite Radio.
Alan could be heard in Philadelphia on WWDB 96.5 FM as the official comedian of the John Zeigler show. In September, 2004, Alan participated in the Guiness Book of World Records Longest Running Comedy Show. 50 straight hours at Hilarities in Cleveland Ohio. He has been featured in, and was a regular contributor to, EntertainingUS, Delaware's hottest entertainment magazine.
Four years ago Patrick started his comedy career in the halls of Second City in Cleveland, Ohio. After two years at Second City and a stint in their Conservatory Program he founded the infamous Off The Wall improv troupe. It was during this time he decided to see what it would be like to hit the stage with his brand of humor. Patrick's sense of humor has been called cerebral, dark, sarcastic and a few other words he's still looking up in Webster's. The improv skills he developed at Second City allow him to step away from his material on occasion and explore topics that hit close to home for his audiences.
