Good words to live by!!!Although I fall short of perfection I always want to strive toward it...I"ve been depressed lately well actually for a long time and I was bringing it up agin at a meeting and I finally heard something I needed to hear from another woman.That its ok to feel that way and that as woman we have a hard time hanging around other ladies at groups. I almost cried (agin)because I felt like I was whinning and being a big baby.You know the usual negative feed back we give ourselves. I realised that I was asking the wrong people.Dont get me wrong I love the guys at my group ,but they dont know how to deal with an upset female drunk!!!(Just ask theyre wives!!)And when I looked across the room at that lady I saw myself and she in me.So what I learned from that is I need more woman in my support group!! |
