Since it is so hard to get members to return to 12ss, I'll keep sending out invites by IM when it is listed other than this site. At least sobriety is an inside job done with God's directions, not mine. I'm still sober and stop by the coffee house here on chat; come join me some time, and we will get to know each other and support each other in our sobriety.
Sober since Aug. 15, 2004, Go to many different meetings but mainly at 36s Central, Medford, Or. 4th time around, I always choose to go back out, never stumble. I don't quit drinking, I just don't drink today. Talk to God every day, read the Bible every day, meditate every day and study the Big Book every day. Call my sponsor and others in recovery and collect phone numbers at all meetings.

Hello Virgil,
thank you for the add.
I keep coming here even if there times i am off. Because I have lessened my time being in the "outer space" of virtual recovery. Real life and NA got me back and I focused on real life on it terms.
Needed it because somehow i was lost.
So I am online now and again and if I see someone I mostly get in contact.
I am grateful for all of you being here and being you.
And yes, I am from Germany
Take care, another 24 and i hope we will meet again
hugs, Frank

Thank you !
From a bush with thorns comes
the beautiful rose.
From the broken heart comes
powerful prose.
from a cramped cocoon comes
a butterfly new.
From a tough mountain climb
comes a breathtaking view.

Recovery happens one day at a time and is possible when you have a close, personal, relationship with Jesus Christ !
We're a New Testament Christian 12 Step group for those who have recovery issues such as alcoholism, drug addiction, mental illness, damaged emotions, and abusive experiences. Through hearing God's Word, bible study and personal discipleship, you stop being conformed to this world and experience the transformation of the renewing of your mind. Anything that has been learned can be unlearned. Certainly this is the major path of renewal in the New Testament.
